Dr Philip Manfield
MBBS, FRACGP, Medical Director
Philip graduated from Medicine in 1980 from the University of Queensland. Before entering General Practice, he was an Emergency Medicine Registrar at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. With more than 32 years in General Practice, he combines his extensive medical skills with his keen interest in all aspects of Family Health with a special interest in the diagnosis, management, prevention and removal of skin cancer. Dr Manfield is a specialist in General Practice who grew up in the local area attending Milton State School. He still lives locally in Paddington.
Dr David Brown
David graduated from Medicine in 1975 from the University of Queensland. He joined the practice in 2005 having spent 10 years running his own practice and 20+ years at a dual doctor practice in the Camp Hill/Carindale area. In addition to his extensive years of experience in General Practice he enjoys Child and Adolescent Health, Family Planning and Pregnancy, and Respiratory Health. He has lived in the Paddington/Auchenflower area for over 25 years and enjoys supporting his grandchildren’s fund-raising efforts and maintaining his farm.
Dr Helen Israel
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip Paed
Helen graduated from Medicine in 1984 from the University of NSW. She joined the practice in 2005 bringing a broad range of General Practice experience. She completed her Diploma in Paediatrics in 1997 and as such enjoys all aspects of Child Health. She also particularly enjoys Women’s Health and Mental Health, in addition to any other general problems that may come along. Helen lives locally and particularly enjoys travelling to gain new experiences and sample new fares, and also has interests in swimming, art and cooking.
Dr Katherine Dent

Katherine graduated medical school in 2004 from the University of Queensland. She has worked in many different places such as North Queensland, Northern NSW and Western Australia before settling back in Brisbane in 2011, where she has been working as a General Practitioner since. She has worked in the NSW hospital system and has completed a Diploma of Anaesthetics, a Diploma of Medical Dermatology, and in 2013 gained her Certificate in Travel Medicine. She enjoys the cradle to the grave aspect of General Practice, as well as having a keen interest in Travel Medicine. She loves spending time with her family, travelling and has her own small business designing handbags.
Dr Renata Rams-Harvey
MD, FRACGP, DRANZCOG, GCertTravelM
After graduating from the Gdansk Medical Academy in Poland, Renata migrated to Australia where she completed her internship and GP training in Victoria. Following 10 years in private medical practice in Melbourne, she moved to regional Northern Territory and experienced a complete change of lifestyle along with the unique challenges of working in remote Australia. Working within an outback community gave her the opportunity to practice Emergency Medicine and chronic disease with a very skilled team of nurses and aboriginal health practitioners. After completing her NT contract, Renata decided to move back to city life and has settled in Brisbane’s inner west. In addition to working as an experience GP, Renata has also gained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology – enabling her to pursue her interest in pregnancy care. Her love of travel spurred her to also complete a Certificate in Travel Medicine. Renata loves keeping fit and living a healthy lifestyle, she especially loves her pet dogs – in particular her Swiss Shepherd named Alba.
Dr Theresa Denham
MBBS, FRACGP, Specialist GP
After graduating in medicine from the University of Queensland, Theresa spent 12 years working in various rural areas of Queensland before settling in Brisbane. After working for over a decade at an inner city general practice, she has spent the last 3 years working with students at QUT. Theresa’s special interests include Mental Health (Adolescent and Adult Depression, Anxiety, OCD and mood disorders), Gynaecology (especially Poly Cystic Ovary Disease and Endometriosis), Chronic Disease Management and Paediatrics.
Dr Simon Murray
MBBS, PPH, FRACGP, Certificate in Travel HealthTM
After graduating in medicine from The University of Queensland, Simon worked in a number of hospital posts, including Mt Isa in 1984. He then worked in General Practice, first in Redcliffe for 16 years and until recently, at Red Hill for 15 years before joining the team at Rosalie Milton Clinic. Simon enjoys keeping up to date with all aspects of General Practice, including Men’s Health, Skin Cancer Medicine, Travel Medicine and Palliative Care. He obtained a Master in Public Health in 1997, where he learned the importance of evidence-based medicine. In his free time Simon enjoys spending time in nature and travelling.
