A health assessment is a full medical assessments that looks at a patients health, physical, psychological and social function.
Medicare will cover a health assessments for anyone in the following categories
- People between the ages of 45 – 49 years old
- People over the age of 75
- permanent residence of residential and aged care facilities
- People with an intellectual disabilities
